In this movie under the original title “Midnight” Humphrey Bogart had a supporting though key role as a foreman in a Jury. The film was re-released as “Call It Murder” by Screen Guild Productions (Guaranteed Pictures) in 1949 after Bogart became a star.
The story is about the foreman of a jury who asks questions that send a woman to the electric chair for a murder committed in the heat of passion. On the night of the execution, his actions come back to haunt him.
